Angles of polygons

Angles of a triangle add up to 180°. Angles of quadrilaterals have 360° altogether.

∡=(3−2)×180°=180°∡=(4−2)×180°=360°

To calculate the sum of interior angles you can use formula (n−2)×180° where n is the number of sides. It doesn't matter whether the polygon is regular (each side and angle has the same size) or not.

∡=(5−2)×180°=540°∡=(6−2)×180°=720°
