## Divisibility rules

A number is divisible by **2** if it ends in 0, 2, 4, 6, or 8. These numbers are called **even numbers**. Numbers not divisible by 2 are called **odd numbers**.

A number is divisible by **3** if the sum of its digits is divisible by 3.
