Fractions and whole numbers
If you compare a fraction with a whole number, you can turn the whole number into a fraction with the same denominator:
$$1=1/1=2/2=3/3=4/4=5/5=...$$
$$4=8/2=12/3=16/4=20/5= ...$$
Compare 3 and $9/4$:
$$3=12/4;→;12/4>9/4$$
